IMPORTANT TIPS FOR SHOOT
Location and Directions
IMPORTANT TIPS:a headshot is a tool for casting agents to remember the person who auditioned for them. Therefore the headshot should look like the person who auditioned. It is often necessary to have more than one headshot because of the variety of roles one person may play.

Keeping that in mind, it is necessary to COME PREPARED to get this variety in your session.

CLOTHING: Everyone should bring a dozen different tops(and bottoms with a 3/4 session). As a general rule AVOID WHITE, PATTERNS, AND TURTLE NECKS. Choose clothing that fits you well. Some examples of good clothing for a shoot: "Gap" type outfits, layers, round and v-neck shirts, sweaters, polo shirts. Also remember business suits, sport coats, upscale dress up clothing if the look fits you.

KIDS: kids should look like kids! Play clothes, bib overalls, t-shirts, hats. Hair should be done in simple styles.

MAKE UP AND HAIR: women/girls- a professional make-up and hair artist is highly recommended and available upon request. When using our make-up artist come with a clean face and hair styled as you would normally wear it. Try to avoid over spraying & teasing so the styles can be changed throughout the session. MEN: may come in with some scruff and then shave after the first few shots. Hair should be natural and not too processed. A professional make-up and hair artist is available upon request for men.

PLEASE TAKE NOTE: As a client you have certain responsibilities to ensure you are satisfied with the outcome of your session. Have a clear understanding of what you and your agent/manager want done with your hair, make-up, and clothing, BEFORE the shoot. We can suggest ideas, but ultimately, the decision is yours. SPEND SOME TIME THINKING AND PREPARING BEFORE THE SESSION SO YOU KNOW WHAT YOU WANT. Remember, it is okay to be politely assertive. If you are uncomfortable with something, say so. You have to live with these photos, so make sure you are going to like them. We are not responsible for reshoots due to improper make up or hair styling done by the client. It is also the client's responsibility to supply proper wardrobe for the session.

NOTE: A 50% CANCELLATION FEE WILL BE CHARGED FOR ANY CANCELLATION LESS THAN 24 HOURS BEFORE SCHEDULED APPOINTMENT.
